We are dedicated to ending the homeless situation among our veterans. With the ever-growing population of homeless veterans there is no shortage of work to be done. Working together with local VA’s we strive to end this atrocity.

The VA units we work closely with are the Providence VA Chalkstone Ave Providence RI. Chief of Staff for Voluntary Services is Donna Rothwitz. Brockton VA Chief of Staff Ralph Machia, Jamaica Plaines VA Rhonda Gracin. We are now venturing into CT and building a relationship with the Newington VA, Newington CT.

We Also work with the USS. Saratoga Foundation in aiding the moving of and restoration of the USS. Saratoga from its current location at the US Naval Station Newport, Newport RI.  To its future home the former US Naval Air Station Quonset Point. Where she will be fully restored and used not only as a museum but also an educational facility.

Our men and women work Thursday thru Sunday rain or shine to raise funds to support these organizations and others. We are currently working with the RI Blue Star Moms and aid helping in their efforts.

Our mission is Brief but worthy, To end the Homeless situation for our Veterans and to aid current returning Iraqi and Afghanistan Vets to Adjust back into civilian lifestyle and working careers. With the ever present pressure of the economy forced upon our returning soldiers the homeless rate increases and the ever threat of suicide is greater now than ever before.

“Our goal, help our homeless and needy vets. “One Donation at a Time!”

Uncle Sam wants you to VOLUNTERR!VSO has work programs for Veterans and Non-Veterans that collect donations to help our veterans. This work program serves a dual purpose as the funds collected are helping Veterans in need while homeless and/or unemployed are being provided work and the ability to improve the quality of their life. VSO is a true non-profit charitable organization where your donations go to supporting American veterans.
